DREAMTIME SERIES
The Dreamtime Series emerged from a desire to soften my practice and move inward. As winter arrived and the body naturally turned toward rest and hibernation, I began working intuitively with acrylic pens and sketchbooks, allowing continuous lines to flow without premeditation. These fluid, wavelike blue studies became the foundation for the series - a quiet dialogue with dream states and an expression of my inner landscape when attention turns away from the external world and onto spiritual practice.

The colour palette was shaped by an experience in the Norwegian mountains during a Breath and Ice retreat. High above a remote lake, exposed to extreme cold and light, I encountered a heightened state of awareness - cold penetrating to the bone, yet accompanied by a profound sense of beauty and clarity. Snow shimmered under the sun, clouds formations drifted across the lake below, and time seemed to dissolve.
The blues, whites and iridescent glints within this series are not representations of that place, but echoes of how it felt - a suspended, otherworldly moment where the body was tested and perception opened. Dreamtime holds that threshold between endurance and surrender, inner stillness and expanded awareness.
