EARTH PRAYER
Earth Prayer will be a multi-sensory art-light-sound installation merging art, technology, nature and spirituality that seeks to evoke the awe and connection we feel when immersed in the natural world..
Currently in R&D phase.
EARTH SPHERE
I have always been fascinated by geodesics, the interconnecting lines that form triangular shapes (pentagons and hexagons) create a unique quality, and they are the only man-made structure to gain strength as they increase in size.

Pioneered by Buckminster Fuller, who based his concept on the principle of 'doing more with less'. Fuller discovered that a spherical structure composed of triangles offers unparalleled strength. This makes the geodesic dome the perfect form for this installation, both structurally and symbolically.

CONCEPT
By harnessing the universal languages of light and sound, this installation offers a transcendent space for reflection and contemplation, cultivating a deep sensory and emotional connection to the Earth.

It incorporates a carefully curated soundscape of meditative tones, nature sounds, and subtle high vibrational frequencies to create a deep, full-body sensory experience that allows viewers to receive the healing effects of a sound attunement..
MESSAGE
Inspired by the divine beauty of the flower kingdom and symbolising Earth the outer space is a call to cultivate 'Reverence' for our planet. To re-connect with the emotions evoked in nature when we truly pause and notice the world around us.

The inner space 'Remembrance' is designed to invite audiences to slow down, take a deeper breath and fully engage the senses. This is so we can experience a moment of transcendence, so that we may remember that it is Earth that sustains us - not the other way around.

INSTALLATION
Earth Prayer acts as a sanctuary within the urban landscape.
It features a 6m geodesic sphere that houses ten botanical light sculptures. Covered in a translucent fabric skin, the sphere illuminates in sync with a soundscape.
With two entry points, visitors can step inside and be fully immersed in an ethereal world of light, colour, art and sound, and experience a sense of wonder, serenity, and connection.
